The creation process of our jewelry

Regarding the way we create our jewelry, we have several points at heart:

* Wherever the production location is, we make no compromise regarding the quality of our jewelry, to the point that we have named our company « Shelyah», which means « jewelry» in Hebrew. This word represents high-quality jewelry, and this starts with the choice of the materials.

* Our jewels are handcrafted by our teams in Brussels. For each one of them, we follow a long process of ancestral craftsmanship that always ends with manual polishing of the jewel.

* We have developed a strict quality control process by supervising each step from the technical drawing to the final product.

How we create our jewels, step by step

1. Design

Each Shelyah piece of jewelry is designed in our workshop in Brussels, where Artémi Vasilakis draws the templates and positions every details of the jewel for prototyping.

2. Materials

We only use noble and top-quality materials to create our jewels: from 925 sterling silver and 9-or-18-carat gold to precious and semi-precious stones coming from verified sources, they all ensure robust jewelry that stands the test of time.

3. Production

Each piece is assembled and polished manually in our workshops by our craftsmen or partners. Once raw materials are chosen and carved, the pieces are polished manually with a dough or steel granules. Then, they are carefully assembled to form the jewel that will be submitted to a series of quality controls.

4. Customization

When you order a customizable jewel, we make a custom-made engraving that matches your personality. Indeed, a personalized jewel shows your identity and asserts your style. Everything is possible for your engraving: let your imagination run wild with drawings, symbols, astrological signs, sweet words and even nicknames.

5. Final check

Once your jewel has successfully passed the last quality control, it is packed and ready to be sent!
